I've tried unsuccessfully to talk to Cuddeback about the camera. You'd think that a camera that costs as much as this did, that it'd take more and better pictures. I placed this and a $60 Moultrie side by side and the Moultrie took about 3 times the amount of pictures as the Cuddeback.. Before placing the moultrie beside the cuddeback, I had poured about half a bag of corn in front of the Ambush. A few days later, I checked the card. There was one picture of a deer in the evening that I put the corn out. The next morning, the corn was all gone and there weren't anymore pics. Something had to have eaten the corn! There was only 12 feet between the camera and the corn. I won't buy another Cuddeback. Don't waste your money.

This is a great camera. I have several of them and they perform every time. The fast trigger speed catches birds flying by! These cameras trigger in the center of the field of view so you get the entire animal every time instead of just its head or tail as it walks by. Uses AA batteries and lasts all season. They set up with a simple rotary dial and even my kids can use them. You can't go wrong with these cameras, I love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 Great little camera.
A great camera to do field work and capture the most elusive animals, like rare predators.
The incredible quick trigger speed makes all the difference between this and other cameras on the market.
I believe the Cuddeback models are a little bit pricier than models from other manufactures with the same characteristics but the stunning trigger speed, the reliability and good manufacturing allows me to photograph wolves, pine martens, and so on all year long. Great product.

I purchased the Attack IR camera in December 2011, since that time the camera had to be sent back to Cuddeback three times for repair and I am getting ready to send it in for repair a 4th time. The camera takes poor quality pictures and if the game is moving past the camera you will definitely have motion blur so bad that you can't even count the points on a typical buck walking past your camera. I have discussed this with Cuddeback and they basically said that is the best an IR camera will do. For any serious hunter I would not recommend this product, not any camera from Cuddeback unless you want your camera be sent back and forth in the mail as opposed to taking pictures in the woods.
