Lead Free pelletes were (in my opinion) not made for a Break Barrel or high velosity air Rifle. You will hit all over Egypt with this type ammo. They will exit with a high velocity and Crack like Thunder when they hit a paper target but they will not be Accurate. Maybe they work well in a pump rifle? i do not know. Do not buy lead free pellets if you use a Break Barrel Air Rifle....! mark my words Please!

these pellets are fast, but they are too light and penetrate poorly. not very accurate or precise.

I bought these pellet thinking I would save a dollar or two. Well needless to say it was not worth it. I should have paid a little extra for premium pellets instead. Shooting from 25 up to 55 yards in ten yard increments Crossman pellets were all over the target. I thought maybe it's my sighting. I then sighted my air rifle at 30 yards still pellets were all over the target. The next day I went out and bought Gamo's "Rocket" pellets and the grouping on the target were touching dead center on bullseye at 25, 35, 45, & 55 yards. After all this I decided to do some research into the pellet "mystery" as to why the crossman pellets were all over the target. I pulled out my trusty grain scale (that I purchased from Bass Pro) and began to weigh both Gamo's rocket pellets and Crossman's pellets. Every one of Gamo's rockets all weighed in at 9.5 grains. Crossman pellets on the other hand were a different case. They varied any where from +2.5 grains to -1.5grains. Also after looking closer many of the Crossman pellets were disfigured. So if you want tight grouping and plenty of knock down power with good velocity I suggest Gamo's "Rocket" pellets pellet or another great pellet is the "raptor". There is also another pellet out there that is well worth the money and that is the "Preditor Polymag" Awsome pellet !!! Although, I can only buy it online from Bass Pro.
