I was a little unsure about how this belt would work out. It seems i have to try belts on before buying.....well, i decided to take a chance and I'm really glad i did! It is elastic with beading and if you wear it on your "real" waist, it stays put. Holds your clothing in tack....no much slipping. Got a ton of compliments. Now if you're looking to wear it lower, on the lower waist/hip bone......it should be relatively fine if you are standing all day....but as soon as you sit down, it will slide up, and then you have to re-adjust. I think most elastic belts will perform like that. Anyway, if you like the looks of it online, you'll love it once it arrives!! BUY IT!
