GREAT line! The Crappie Maxx Super Vis Fishing Line is without doubt the best high vis line I've ever spooled up! I've been a fishing guide for 35+ years and put it on all my reels for crappie fishing. My clients who sometimes are not real experienced can detect even the slightest bite by being able to see their line move ever so slightly. Their catch rate goes way up and it makes my job a lot easier! October 27, 2014
great line not easy broken. nice color. everybody like the color of it. easy to handle February 18, 2014
Cheap Line--Bad Memory There is a reason this line is less than $10 for 1500 yds. The memory on it is TERRIBLE. One review said "awesome flexibility" uh not sure what rope they were using but this is less than stellar on flexibility. I spooled up three rods of this with 8lb test and it sounds like stiff wire shooting through my rod guides. I get about 2/3 of the distance compared to mono. The good on this line is it is highly visible which makes it great to see the huge wad of line that coils off your spinning reel and gets in a huge knot like a yarn ball. November 26, 2012
Very Happy I bought a roll of this line skeptical about how good it would be. That's a lot of line for an inexpensive price. During bright daylight, it's kind of yellow, but doesn't really stand out too much. Now come dusk or early dawn and this stuff glows like it's battery powered. I simply love it in low light now. I've also been using KVD Line and Lure on it, and my other reels and line, and there's no coils, soft and suple, very happy with this line. BTW, I use the 6 pound. March 22, 2012

I've seen this lined advertised byWally Marshall (called Mr. Crappie) and like it. But I would like to know if the fish can see the line underwater or if it is invisible.

This line DOES appear underwater. Glow is a bit much but yes the fish see it. I've had clear fluorocarbon and this line next to eachother (icefishing) same hook same bait same depth and the fish bit more on the high vis line. Personally I would buy from Vicious Fishing Line though (better line)!

It is pretty much invisible to the fish underwater. I experimented and tied some fluorocarbon to the last 2 feet of the High Vis line to see if i would catch more crappies. It didn't make one bit of difference so now I just tie the High Vis directly to my crappie jigs. It really is a great line to help you catch fish especially crappies!

A:
Don't know if the fish can see it or not so we are adding a low vis leader. We're catching fish is all I can say. I'll try tying direct to some soft baits and see if the fish still bite.
