I have the 10ft 1/4" mesh. Works great on the flats for shiners and greenies. The horn is decent - doesn't make a mess of the brail lines. The line is durable enough, and the 1/4" mesh makes no Christmas trees. I've pulled up glass minnows in this thing. It doesn't sink very fast, but it's 1/4" mesh - what do you expect? Get one for your inshore bait.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by netthrower good and bad
I just got home from my first trip with my new Cracker net. It throws easily and opens well. Sinks fast and catches a lot of bait. I filled two live wells with one cast. That's the good.
The bad was after I got home and hung it up to clean it. First I found a hole about the size of a half dollar. Thought it might be from this one use until I saw how the knots were all tied around it. I can live with it but I wish it wasn't there. Then I found about a 3 inch square patch. I'm sure its a patch because they used 3/8 inch mesh net to patch my "new" 1/4 inch mesh net.
I'm disappointed in finding this in a net that was nearly $200.
