Super cute looking, but doesnt work with the roll caps. It shoots maybe 1 out of 6 shots. If you're looking for a cute gun, this is it, since thats about all its good for. If you're looking for and actual "shooting gun" dont recommend. The trigger hurts MY fingers after pulling on it 4 or 5 times, too hard for a kid to shoot with.

VERY sturdy, great color. A bit hard to fire one-handed for my 5 year old daughter...but she loves it anyway!

For my daughter's birthday she asked for a cap gun. We found this one, which seemed really reasonable. On the Basspro.com site we could not find caps when we purchased the gun, but did find the paper roll caps at a store near our home. Long story short, the gun doesn't work. Its not a cap gun. The hammer is not smooth, so at most you may get a little spark and some smoke...if the gun sets the cap off at all...no noise. That being said, it it jams and the trigger doesn't return correctly. If you are buying a cap gun, to actually shoot caps, don't buy this one...it does not work.

This product is excellent quality. All the kids at the Halloween party wanted to play with it. Sturdy and very cute.
