Cotton Cordell®'s Pencil Poppers are super striper and big gamefish baits that anyone can catch fish with. Designed to deliver super-long, accurate casts, the Pencil Popper's tail section has an added weight to force it to sit tail down, creating an ''easy'' bobbing target. When jerked, Pencil Poppers jump from side to side with an erratic injured minnow action. Super-strong, rust resistant hooks.

awsome plug i use this for striper fishing it truely is awsome for big top water striper fishing April 1, 2011
Striped Bass Slayer I recently spent two days on a large southern lake fishing for Striper. We tied on the Blue and Silver Pencil Poppers and on the very first cast my buddy had his smashed by a nice 16 pound fish. It seemed that our boat was the only one dragging them in. When we got a break in the action I noticed that the other boats around us were not using Pencil Poppers. Later in the morning we Found Stripers busting on the surface and the pencil poppers did the job again. Again we were sorrounded by other boats that did not seem to be catching anywhere near the numbers of fish that we were catching. This is a Fantastic product and I will not be caught without a few in my box. September 10, 2006
CCPP; LMB, NP & and even ST! I've been using the Cotton Cordell Pencil Poppers for about 5 years now on Northern Minnesota lakes. It consistantly produces some of the most exhilarating surface hits from large-mouth bass and northern pike I've ever seen from a surface bait! The bait is easy to use. Just cast it, let it sit a second to settle, and from there it's up to you. Twitch it, pop it, walk-the-dog, just reel it; the fish can't resist it! Have you ever seen a pike fly? With this lure, I have! They'll get completely out of the water with the force of their hits. Large-mouth bass barely larger than the 6" Pencil Popper have taken the lure without hesitation. And once, while fishing skinny water, I managed to boat a 28" diameter snapping turtle! The Cotton Cordell Pencil Popper is the one bait I regularly stock in my go-to box for fishing fun and excitement! June 7, 2006
Big bait This bait will catch largemouth bass. I was fishing with a friend of mine when he pulled this out of the tackle box. I laughed at him because of the size of this bait. Within an hour he had caught three largemouth all over four pounds. The best time to fish this thing is when the water is a bit choppy. The fish are going to notice it because it is loud and large. You can walk the dog easily with it. The only thing I have against it is that it is very heavy. It will cast a country mile, but after fishing it for ten minutes you will be tired, especially your arms and wrists. But as I said, it catches big fish. What do they say "Big bait, Big fish?"
