Cotton Cordell® Jointed Red Fin® - CJ9
When I'm not on my kayak I fish from one of the many piers around the base on Hickam. I usually throw one or two bait lines out and use a lure or two will I wait for the bite. This is a lure I always take. It pays off most of the time. I've had cudas, jacks, and some other unrecognizable fish that you can get around the islands.

Works Great on Largemouth Bass
I love this lure for largemouth bass. They just tear it up. I put a feathered treble hook on the back and up sized the O-ring one size and it gives it amazing action. I've caught some huge bass on these even though the lure is sometimes over half the fish's size.

Another sleeper lure
Once again old lures working well. The Cordell Red Fin is an old design that works very well. Cast out and slow reeled it wakes across the surface wobbling and wiggling. Sea trout, snook , and redfish will hit this bait hard. We use it without the split ring on the nose prefering to tie it on our leaders with a canoemans's loop knot. It can also be used as a topwater twich bait very effectively.
