I love this lure for largemouth bass. They just tear it up. I put a feathered treble hook on the back and up sized the O-ring one size and it gives it amazing action. I've caught some huge bass on these even though the lure is sometimes over half the fish's size.

Once again old lures working well. The Cordell Red Fin is an old design that works very well. Cast out and slow reeled it wakes across the surface wobbling and wiggling. Sea trout, snook , and redfish will hit this bait hard. We use it without the split ring on the nose prefering to tie it on our leaders with a canoemans's loop knot. It can also be used as a topwater twich bait very effectively.
