The Hammerheads feature Costa's 580 LightWAVE® glass lenses which in addition to providing 100% polarization and 100% UV protection, they also incorporate an advanced filtering compound into the lens material to reduce yellow light. This results in enhanced colors and greater visual acuity in all conditions. LightWAVE® glass lenses are 20% thinner and 22% lighter than typical glass lenses but they still exceed federal standards for impact-resistance. Ultra-tough, full-wrap style TR-90 nylon frames with stainless steel spring hinges make the Hammerheads right for any adventure.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Never Buy Costa Sunglasses DO NOT BUY Costa Sunglasses. They break easily and their "LIFETIME WARRANTY" only covers factory defects! I had them for 4 months and they fell off my head while I was bending down to tie my show and a lens shattered! They fell from about 3 feet. They are cheap and an inferior product. Rated 2 out of 5 by Hammerhead 580g I bought these glasses to use for fishing but they fog up very easily and give me a bad headache. And to keep them from fogging up you had to wear them further down on your nose and then when your face would sweat they would slide down your nose but the clarity of them was unreal only complaint I had was they seemed really heavy feeling and hurt my nose and gave me a headache. I traded for the man of war glasses and love them so far. March 26, 2012
