Costa® Fathom 400 Polarized Sunglasses
NICE - But expensive!
VERY NICE Glasses! Very Expensive, Though. Polarized lenses score BIG.

These glasses are great, both on the water and off. I have a pair with the blue lens and I use mine for offshore fishing. They really bring out the contrast and clarity of objects under the water. I have had the same pair for three years now and couldn't go without. They are very comfortable and highly durable. Also, I had to use my lifetime warranty to get the frame replaced by the factory and Costa Del Mar didn't charge me a dime except for the shipping and handling. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for high quality glasses and who also want to see more fish!

I recently bought a pair of Fathoms with Vermillion lense. I love these glasses, the whole world looks better after you put them on you never want to take them off. And their quite stylish.
I also bought my wife and sister each a pair of Tropic Stars as a gift. They love them, I tried them on and thought they were also excellent glasses they just did not fit as comfortably as the Fathoms.

Believe the hype!
I was very reluctant to drop 160 bucks on a pair of Fathoms with blue mirror lenses simply because the 100% consensus surrounding these shades agreed that they were ocular perfection. And when I first began toying with the idea of buying them, I also considered buying some Oakleys instead as a cheaper (though not polarized, i.e. simply for show, but still not quite as attractive) alternative. Now, months later, as I have indeed taken the plunge without looking back, I can say that these shades are well worth the money. And worth the high acclaim they relentlessly command. I can only attest to the ability of the glass blue mirror lenses to block glare, but I assure anyone considering this particular shade that they deliver when needed. Glare is no longer an issue when wearing these, and they seem to even enhance the wearer's vision even when not in extreme light. But as well as the blues deliver, I can only imagine CDM would accept nothing short of perfection from any other lens on their list. Beyond the lenses though, the frames are equally as noteworthy. They feel solid, well-weighted, and comfortable even after hours of wear. So in a sentence, Costa Del Mar Fathoms are worth every cent and, at the risk of overstating my case, are perfect sunglasses. I've not had to question the purchase once since I got them. In fact, I'm now planning on buying some Wave Killers with Green mirror lenses, and this time the Oakleys won't get a second's thought.
