I had my last pair of Costa Phantoms for the better part of 10 years until I left them at a TSA checkpoint at the airport. Replaced them immediately with a new pair from Bass Pro Shops. Best sunglasses I have ever owned.

Wanted a smaller framed pair of glasses and these are perfect.

Ever since I bought my 1st pair of polarized sunglasses, I was amazed how much better everything looked vs regular lenses. I had bought (and broken) numerous sunglasses in the $30-50 range and was always skeptical about these more expensive sunglasses.....then I bought a pair. As the title says, just WOW!! Had I just bought Costas to begin with, I'd would have actually SAVED money by just having Costa repair them, instead of buying a new pair....at least once a year.
The Fathom style fit great, are very light weight, and though they feel fragile to the touch...they're pretty tough. If I'm fishing, 99% of the time it's for bass. I bought the green mirror/amber and couldn't be happier. They also are great for driving in the rain during daylight hours. It takes nearly all the glare out of your sight range and actually makes it safer to drive since you see so much better.

The Fathom’s were my second pair of Costa’s. They are very comfortable, maybe even too comfortable. I have come back home many times looking like a raccoon, but it was worth it!

It really depends on how they fit on your face. The vents on the sides are made to help, but all in all it is determined by the fit.The brine and the stringer are comparable to the fathoms that I would look into if I were you.
