Costa® Brine 580G Polarized Sunglasses
I love these glasses
Let me start off saying that I have had every Major brand of sunglasses over the past couple years. I have had several styles of each also. I had been looking for the perfect pair, which for me involved weight, fit, and optical clarity.
I got the Brines with the 580 Green Mirror lens and now I can say my search is over. I absolutely love these glasses. This was not my first pair of Costas either. I like this style because of the weight of them and eye coverage. Glass lenses have the best optical quality, but the tradeoff is weight. I have always liked the glass lens but I hate for them to slide down my face. These are so lightweight even with the glass lenses I do not have that problem. The lenses are still large enough that it provides complete coverage for my eyes which is awesome so I do not get eye fatigue from light slipping in. These glasses make me want to go outside just to wear them.
The Green mirror is by far my favorite. I have blue mirror and silver mirror Costa’s. The Blue Mirror is a gray tone while the Green Mirror is Amber based both are rated as 10% light transmission and the silver mirror is 12%. The green mirror lens brightens things up and makes colors pop. It is the HD in sunglasses for sure. The Blue mirror does not seem to block more light than the Green Mirror from my comparison, but it does not make colors look brighter it really kinds of mutes them so to speak when you compare the two. I like a darker lens so I have always gone with the blue mirror thinking it blocks more light, but that just does not seem to be the case to me. I do fish lakes and not the ocean, but I see the benefit of the blue mirror lens. All of the reviews I have read have just really repeated what Costa said their lenses were designed for so I hope my short comparison is helpful

COSTAS WARRENTY IS NOT WHAT THEY SAY IT IS!!!
I have purchased many costa sunglasses and I love them and I used to say I would never purchase another pair. But after I have had to deal with the repair service twice I'm not happy at all. I just sent mine back because while I took them off my head the whole side of the glasses snapped inside the arm. I sent them back thinking no problem its covered under warranty after being told each time i have purchased them costa has a great warranty and they always stand behind there product. which is why I spent $250 on a pair of sunglasses. I got a email saying I had to pay to fix my glasses because my glasses were neglected and the had fallen on the ground that's how they had broken. I baby my glasses and always put them in the factory case after i take them off. The glasses looked brand new when i sent them off except for the broke piece. I told them to send them back so I could see what they were talking about and of course they already threw them in the trash. I was basically told that there warranty covered the nose piece and the rubber on the glasses. So just to let future buyers know DO NOT PURCHASE these if you think the warranty will be helpful, like every store I have bought them from has told me was so great. I used to recommend these to everyone but with the customer service I have has I will no longer do that.
