Comfortable out of the box. Have had two pairs and neither lasted more than 6 months. Sole's of the boots fell off! I'm tough on boots and wore these daily until they failed. Miss them but won't buy anymore!

but remember, they ARE NOT WATERPROOF. I would suggest buying a 1/2 size larger because of the composite toe. They are light, comfortable, and durable.
