My switches on my 15 year old boat had finally decomposed to where they were a mess and these were easy to install and work great.

Great replacement switches. I had the old contura style that had a rubber coating on them and the rubber deteriorated on them leaving a sticky residue on my fingers. These are much better than that old style and replaced all the other ones perfectly.

The on/off/on illuminated switch has ONE terminal for light, other side of switch has 3 terminals. The 3 position Contura switches that I am replacing have one terminal for light and 4 terminals for wiring harness. Don't know which wire to leave off or which terminal to "double-up" on? My Champion came from factory with all Contura switches and I just received the 5 I ordered from BPS and am a little confused. Thanks JimAnswers

I would use the illuminated off-on switch for the automated switch for the pump. The automated switch for the pump will automatically turn the pump off and you could leave the contura switch to the on position. When the pump comes on the light will tell you it's in use.A:
I have a similar punp on my boat. a contura switch should work. itme number 38-506-702-00 is one that I have installed on my boat. Hope that helps.A:
You need an ON/OFF/ON switch. Wire the auto to one pole and the manual to the other. Flip the switch one way and the pump will run manually, flip it the other way and it'll run in auto mode. Flip the switch to the middle and the pump will be off.Answers

MM stands for monentary. Usually the off to monentary on switch would be used for a horn on the vessel.A:
Momentary On, meaning you have to hold the switch down for it to remain on, let go and it turns off. Used for horns or sometimes the manual portion of an automatic pump although I prefer to use the on/off/on for auto pumps.A:
I believe that "mm" designates a momentary contact switch.1 of 1
