  • Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bang for the buck Good product. Great performance. Only complaint is pitch is not matched inch for inch on 3 blade to 4 blade props. Must use a lower pitch prop to turn the same RPM'S when going from 3 to 4 blades. I have to return mine and choose a different product. They don't offer a pitch suitable for my 22ft pontoon. June 2, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by backup or main prop Installation was no problem except I had to add a washer (really a machine bushing) to get the cotterpin hole to line up with the slots in the crown nut. My OB is an F40 Yamaha. compared to my 3 blade Turning Point screw, I got a better hole shot and more power to haul a load and climb boat up on to the trailer, but I lost about 5 mph top end. I have not hit anything yet, so cant comment on durability. May 25, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by GOOD PRODUCT wanted backup prop to fish in Canada because of the rocks.Tried the prop out to see how it worked it ran great, could tell very little difference from my factory prop which is aluminum.Very well worth the money. May 21, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by great impovement Very happy with the performance of this prop. better handling better top end and seemed to have more thrust on take off.Very smooth at running speeds. May 10, 2010

Depending on the diameter of your prop you could use either the D4021 or the E4023 for the 25MP 2007 Mercury. The E4023 diameter is 10", the D4021 is 10.5"

The 3 blade prop can be replaced with a 4 blade. The correct diameter is needed as well as the year, hp and desired pitch to get the correct prop.

    For a 1987 50 HP Mariner try item number 38-560-968-00 or 38-546-584-00.

    Answers

    A:
depends on what you are doing with the motor. what size boat the motor is on and what you want to do with it ie, fish, ski, joy ride. in most cases, you would not want to use smaller than a 15 pitch or higher than a 19 pitch. the smaller the pitch the more load and torque you can have but less speed. The higher the pitch, you get more speed, but less pulling ability.

No, the prop/hub are one piece. I had to remove my existing splined spacers (front and back) and used my existing flat washer, castle nut and cotter pin.
