  • Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good buy as advertised Prop performs as stated. Works good in open water. Would not recommend for fishing around stumps or brush or in shallow water. Prop is lightweight but on my first outing has performed well. Prop fit like factory prop. July 18, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comp Prop - Best ever Bought my first 4 blade comp prop as a backup. tried it and it out performed stock equip and kept it on. I fish stump grounds and rocky rapid areas. Coupled with a rock guard they last. Probably saved me from lower unit problems. Anyone who does not get better performance such as quicker planeout at lower rpms is most likely not putting the right prop size on their rig. I even had one that I chipped 3/4" off one blade. So I cut 3/4" off the other blades so they were equal still have that prop that works well. Is it indestructable, no ; but it meets all claims plus. Anyone not giving this product an excellent rating. It ain't the prop! Am about to purchase another one now. June 27, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by best prop for my boat The second one I have bought becuase I hit a stump and ruined the first one. It planes the boat quicker and makes it faster. The best prop for my boat. One problem...extra high water here and tne Missouri is now not fishable. I am banished to local man made lakes. Depressing for a walleye guy. Panfish here I come. The only hassle I had was ordering it from you guys. The prop numers don't match the catalog very well and I had to write in for assistance. Some of that could be me. Jack June 7, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by good product I purchased the Comprop as a temporary replacement for my damaged SS prop. I run an '08 Suzuki 50 hp four stroke. My SS prop is a 3X11.5X 13. The recommended Comprop is a M4323. (4X10X13) Installation of Comprop was difficult, very close tolerance with drive shaft. Had to drive it on with a block of wood and hammer. Hate to think about getting it off again. Performance is very close to that of SS. 50 rpm short of max at full throttle with top end speed same as SS.. Much better performance out of the hole. Overall, very pleased with the purchase. May 8, 2011

Depending on the diameter of your prop you could use either the D4021 or the E4023 for the 25MP 2007 Mercury. The E4023 diameter is 10", the D4021 is 10.5"

The 3 blade prop can be replaced with a 4 blade. The correct diameter is needed as well as the year, hp and desired pitch to get the correct prop.

    For a 1987 50 HP Mariner try item number 38-560-968-00 or 38-546-584-00.
Also, you will need to diamter and pitch to find the best prop

    A:
depends on what you are doing with the motor. what size boat the motor is on and what you want to do with it ie, fish, ski, joy ride. in most cases, you would not want to use smaller than a 15 pitch or higher than a 19 pitch. the smaller the pitch the more load and torque you can have but less speed. The higher the pitch, you get more speed, but less pulling ability.

No, the prop/hub are one piece. I had to remove my existing splined spacers (front and back) and used my existing flat washer, castle nut and cotter pin.
