Commercial Grade Marinade Injector
I started out with the poly injector a couple of years ago, and decided that it time to upgrade after cracks started to appear in the outer case of my injector. It still works, but I didn't want to risk it failing at an important moment. I never realized how much nicer this Commercial Grade Injector would be. Easier to hold in and use in one hand. The larger volume was wonderful, resulting in fewer stops to refill. I Fried 7 Turkeys on different days this Thanksgiving season, and gave the poly unit away after the first one. This thing just makes you feel like a pro while using it, and you never want to go back to go back to using a cheaper one.

Unhappy with purchase
I bought this for a Pig Roast we were doing for my wife's 40th. While trying to inject the pig, the tip immediately broke. After a few more tries with the broken tip, the screw on cap kept falling off. I guess from the pressure in the cylinder. I specifically purchased this model because the words commercial grade led me to believe the product was durable and would stand up to injecting a pig. Anyhow, I have always been happy with my purchases from Bass Pro but this one unfortunately was my first disappointment.

met my needs
works very good , sturdy construction. only con is the way the needle mounts, if not mounted perfectly, it separates from the injector body when under pressure of injecting.

The plunger o-ring seats tight against the metal body giving a good seal for injecting marinade or filling the body with marinade through its' vacuum seal. It holds sufficient fluid for most normal use and because it fills so readily this is not a problem even on a large pork shoulder or a beef brisket. One-handed injection use is easily performed allowing the other hand to help position the meat being injected. So far, this injector does not suck air nor does it shoot marinade up my arm through plunger bypass. Construction and quality of materials suggests that I can expect a multi-year life out of this product.
