i got this beanie to match my coat thinking that the bottom of my ears would be missed like most beanies i buy. but in my surprise, it doesn't . my head is warm my ears are toasty, finally a beanie that fits my big head, thanks columbia, keep making quality gear and i will continue to by from you

I spend a lot of time outdoors at my kid's swim meets and in the winter it's nice to keep a warm head. Granted winters in Northern California are mild but mornings can be close to freezing. The Whirlibird II Beanie kept my head warm last weekend with temps in the 30's-40's with some wind.
