Columbia Watch Cap II
Watch cap is warm
Plus side- the cap is soft - so it doesn't chafe and is comfy for long periods. It's also warm in the absence of wind.
Minus - It's an 'open' weave and so not a great wind cutter. It could use a slight design fix so that the bottom was more clingy - it tends to slide a bit rather than curve under the ears and cling to the head/neck. The material feels like it bunches right near the top where all the seams are.
A good product overall but some tweaks could make it better.

No Omni-Heat Liner
Okay, so when I ordered this I was hoping it had the omni-heat liner like the hat I got my girlfriend. It didn't. That doesn't mean it doesn't keep my head and ears super warm on cold winter mornings. It just means I still haven't found the answer to the terrible case of hat hair I get from a watch cap. I love this cap. It's tough, well constructed and warm. What more can you ask for?

Watch Cap Delight
I was a Grunt in the Infantry for the 4th Infantry Division (M) and I wished we would have had these Watch Caps during my term of service. They are the thickest most comfortable cap I have ever owned. They are well worth twice the price. I got one for me and my wife. My girls tried them and now they want one too. Buy the best and this is it!

Warm watch cap
I bought this to use for backpacking and to slip on when I get in my sleeping bag on those 15 degree nights in the Colorado mountains. It works great for this purpose. It also worked well when I played golf on a very cool day recently. Great product and highly recommend.
