Rated 5 out of 5Â by CAHokie Great jacket
This is a great jacket if you're looking for a general purpose, no frills, go-to jacket. It's incredibly soft and fits well. The jacket is great for in-door use or when layered with other jackets, and the gray is a flattering color.
However, this jacket has its limitations. Do not expect for this jacket to keep you warm in the wind or if it's exceptionally cold. It's too thin to hold up against strong winds and wind-chill factor. Again, it serves well when layered with other clothes, like a wind breaker.
Overall, this is my go-to daily jacket and am seriously considering purchasing more because they are so inexpensive.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by SizeEmUp Product is great...the model they tried it on gave them some false waist line and weight.
I'm disappointed that I have to send the product back for the next size up but it is worth returning. I have a 36 inch waist and weigh 198. A large is a little tight from waist on up. Contrary to what people say, some guys carry an extra tire...even though my tire is small. Recommend you check your size scale again or future consumers....buy next size up.

I felt the customer service was good and it came on time.
Actually, it was for my girlfriend. It was getting close to her birthday and I thought it would be late, but you guys came through. Thanks!

I'd love to be able to recommend this fleece. I'd love to keep buying more of them. However, after owning five of them and having problems with four of them so far, I am likely to look elsewhere for fleece jackets in the future.
Positives: I love the fabric. It's soft, doesn't pill up, and it says that way over repeated washes. This is my favorite part of this fleece.
Negatives: Out of the five I own, three of them have come out of the dryer with shattered zipper "heads". The zippers seem to be made out of plastic, and just don't last through very many washes. I can still wear the fleeces without being able to zip them up, but it reduces the function. In one of the cases, the destruction of the zipper head also pulled teeth out of the zipper, so that one can't be zipped at all. Of the remaining two, on the first wash a large hole opened up in the seam on the arm of one. So far I haven't had any problems with the remaining fleece, but it's only been in the wash once.
My first recommendation to Columbia is to use a better quality zipper in this product, even if it increases the price a little bit. I've never had a zipper in anything else shatter like these do. My second recommendation is to make sure your assembly creates garments that actually stay together. I shouldn't have to repair them after one wash.
