Columbia Silver Ridge Cargo Pants for Men
Silver ridge cargo pants
Material is ultra light, quick drying and rip resistant. These pants rock. They keep you cool while protecting you with SPF 50 on your legs. They tend to wrinkle if you do not immediately remove them from the drier. Hang dry is best.
Warning, these tend to fit a little snug (small). I wear a 34 and the 34 is snug. Next, I purchased a 36 and I like the fit much better.
Overall, I'm buying 5 more pair if they go on some type of sale

Good product, sizes run small
Columbia makes good clothing: good design, good materials, good workmanship. Where they fail is sizing. In my recent order, I purchased one pair of Columbia's Lander Pants and two pairs of Silver Ridge Cargo Pants. All three pairs were exactly the same size: 30x32. The Lander Pants (made in Pakistan) fit great. They're even a little loose. The Silver Ridge Cargo Pants (made in Bangladesh) are so high and tight in the crotch that I'm afraid I'm going to hurt myself if I sit down in them. The waist is also very tight. If you order these pants, you might consider ordering a larger size than you would normally, especially if you are in-between sizes.

GREAT PANTS, VERY COOL, a little long
These pants are awesome. I live in S. Louisiana and i work outdoors. My job requires me to wear long pants, which makes for an even hotter summer. These pants keep me as cool as possible considering my work conditions. They dry very quickly. The only issue I have with the pants is that they run a bit long. I normally wear a 32" inseam...had to return my original order for a 30" inseam and they still a touch too long. When they are wet, the material stretches, which makes them WAY TOO LONG. I end up having to roll the bottoms to avoid constantly stepping on the pants with my heels. Other than that, the pants are absolutely awesome.

Good light weight pant for light work
These pants are great for light work or just casual wear. However, if you intend to do some real tough hiking or work, the material is not strong enough. I often carry a large pocket knife and after only a few times taking in an out of the pocket the pant began to tear. Also, I often do workouts (pushups, burpies....etc....) during my hikes/light jogs and the pant has begun to wear thin on the knees and around the belt loops. But I often beat the heck out of my clothes, so if you are just wearing them for light use.....great pant.
