Ok, I know Columbia is excited about their new Omni-heat technology, but it seems like it's almost impossible to get products without it. On it's face, Omni-heat may seem like a good idea for a skin tight base layer. But my intended use for this shift was running, and those tiny little dots cause chaffing. I may end up using it for camping, and if I do I'll add to this review

Best bestlayer I have tried. Lightweight yet warms up quickly with activity. Only downside is the thumb holes. As a crosscounty skier I found the thumb holes were not very comfortable. I just don't use them.

Order more than one, because you'll want to wear it every day. When the weather is 20-30 degrees, and your days are full of downhill, cross-country, or skate skiing, or snow-shoeing, this is the perfect layer. Downhill it was great with as a base layer; skate-skiing it was all you needed under something windproof. Love it!
