Rated 5 out of 5Â by SHH1973 great lightweight jacket
I am very happy with this jacket. It is a great rain coat or "windbreaker." Do not expect a lot of "warmth" but rather expect a comfortable, well designed, waterproof jacket. I used it in Alaska for our hiking and bear watching. Great to use in layers.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MidMoClimber Great lightweight rain jacket
It has been pouring down rain the last few days where I live and my jacket has kept the top half of my body completely dry. The lower half on the other hand has been getting soaked. I'd highly recommend this jacket for summer weather. It breaths pretty well actually. The only negative thing I can say about it is I'm concerned I'm going to rip it because of how lightweight it is. The material is pretty thin, but then again when it's 90 and rainy I dont mind it that much.
Also it is pretty big for its size if you ask me. But thats just because it's a rain jacket. If you're looking for something to fit tighter to you make sure you get a size down.

The Jacket was exactly what I wanted and the delivery was when they said it would be. The Jacket will keep me warm
on cool days and dry on wet days --- In Ohio this is very
important. I will be buying other products from them !

when its raining does the rain rain a a soft sound or likr rain hitting pasticf or a hard surface

looking for a rain coat that has soft sounds c when being rain on and how long is itAnswers
A:Â
Soft sound. Worked well keeping me dry in heavy rain in Alaska.A:Â
More soft sound than hard. kind of like nylon. Not as loud as a hard shell. but louder than a cotton jacketDetails:Â
Is it like a spring jacket or more for the cold?Answers
A:Â
unlined spring jacket. Not for cold weather unless using as a thin outer layer.A:Â
its both...more for spring-ish weather. The jacket does run bigger than normal, so its easy to put on a sweater or hoody underneath.A:Â
Has a mesh lining. Not for warmth. I would wear something under it for warmth. It did keep me dry however.A:Â
This jacket has lining of 100% polyester mesh, 100% nylon taffeta.A:Â
More of a spring jacket, but has plenty of room if you want a rainproof cover over bulky layers.A:Â
Not lined but I find layering to be the better approach as this lends a broader range of use. Sizing seems to be generous enough to provide a range of options. I use this in the summer and dead of winter w/o reservation.Details:Â
