Northbend Omnitech
Outdoors writer/editor; master fly fishing instructor. I needed a shoe that resists morning dew and still fits comfortably enough for me to wear all day. The Northbend Omnitech excels in both categories. I have a size 14 foot, slightly wider than normal, but not EEE. This shoe fits wonderfully and looks good, too.
I've worn them now daily for three weeks. AN earlier pair of Columbia shoes, the Shasta, has held up so well that I can still use them for play shoes -- held up to occasional immersion in salt water, river water, and the dirt and dust of the South. Sole glue is remarkably still intact and the mesh materials has not ripped or torn, even with much woods walking.
For the Northbend, I've found no downside. Buy these with confidence and wear them with comfort.

Nice look
Although I just purchased these hikers, the overall look is very nice. Looks good with jeans or athletic pants. They fit comfortable and feel nice on my feet. I am a tall guy with size 13 shoe, so I am always slightly "rolling the dice" when I order shoes online. These are nice comfortable hikers and I look forward to seeing how they function when the weather gets a lot colder.

it is cool and light.
I like it. For grip, lite and onmi tech function, they all make the shoes excellent.
