Columbia Freezer Zero Neck Gaiter
Marketing ploy gone bad OMNI FREEZE FAILS AGAIN
bought this for husband and self, along with the bandana that were said to cool and wick as well.
Used mine while mowing our lawns, it wicked most moisture and didn't make the heat worse, never got that "cooling effect" didn't get sunburned, but that is no real feate... I could have made a tube-like contraption out of a sleeve of a cotton t-shirt, I wouldn't get sunburned where it covered, cotton absorbs moisture...
the only good thing as the material transfers eat away.... never got a "cooling feeling though. Would NOT buy again. IS NOT worth the amount paid in the least for an average product that does not live up to the HYPE.

Better Than Expected
To be honest, half the reason I bought this Neck Gaiter for $30 was because the bright blue color was a perfect match to the trim on my Harley's paint job.
I used the gaiter for the first time yesterday on a 160 mile bike ride with the temperature in the mid-nineties most of the day.
The gaiter worked great. I wet it down at two rest stops during the day. It protected my neck from sunburn and helped keep me comfortable all day. It is a quality piece of gear and actually a good value for the money. Definitely a big advance over the common bandana, and now an essential part of my riding gear.

Freezer Zero Neck Gaiter
I have used other manufacturer's similar products in the past and wanted to try Columbia's since they produce so many other awesome products. Ordered a white one for my son and a fossil for myself. Finally got to use it several weekends ago and it fit and felt awesome. The material was just the right weight and did not feel like it was sufficating you. Also, once the Freeze Zero got damp from sweat, it felt even better against my cheeks and neck and helped cool my body temp down as well. Great job Columbia.....keep up the nice work and providing quality products.

Keep the sun off your neck
I HATE SUNSCREEN! I hate having to apply and keep applying sunscreen. A couple years back I rafted the Grand Canyon and I had a bad case of heat stroke because I didn't keep the sun off the back of my neck and didn't drink enough water. I recently returned from Havasupai in the Grand Canyon and this thing kept the sun off my neck, kept me cool and any time dirt was kicked up I just slipped the gaiter over my nose and I could breath while everyone else was choking on dust. I raft a lot and I'm going to take this with me on every trip I go on. Love this thing.
