I used to get cold snowboarding, these kept me nice and warm. I bought the XS size and they are still a little big around my butt and ankles.

The fabric is a great weight and kept me warm during a cold ski day. I normally wear a medium in the lighter weight tight. The medium in the heavy weight tight runs big in the waist and around the ankles. I am going to have to order a small.

These pants work great on snowy days as a basic layer and they did a great job in excluding all the humidity. However, they are a bigger than all the other Columbia tights that I've bought so I would so get a size smaller than your usual size (both fits better and makes you feel better!!)
