I live in Florida and spend every day in the sun boating, fishing or sitting on the beach. I live in these shirts. The fabric feels great, almost like cotton, as opposed to many SPF shirts. They are comfortable, cool, and offer great sun protection.
Unfortunately the shirt has one big flaw; the pockets do not stay closed. Anything with a little bit of weight will fall out. I lost an iiPhone that way. Active guys need the use of these pockets.
I hope Columbia can fix this because otherwise these are the perfect shirts. Columbia has zippers on other shirt pockets, why not these?

These nylon fishing shirts are THE BEST on the market for sun and heat protection. I'm an avid fisherman and will spend 10 hours in a day on the water in full sun at 80 degrees and be comfortable. Cotton and polyester shirts just don't cut it. Honestly, these are well worth the money. I've had some for 15 years so they are also durable if you don't dry on high heat. Just got new ones and they're just as good as my older ones.
Be aware the slightest breeze blows right through the material so they are NOT designed to keep you warm on a cool morning. Add a layer for that.
I do need to order one size smaller than all other shirts I wear.

Great shirt. My wife and I each have one and the only negative exists on both. Either the buttons are too big or the button holes are too small. It's not a big thing, but come on folks, a small thing like that can affect ones feeling about quality control as it takes way too much effort to button up the shirt. I also always wonder if any one there really follows up on something like this. I gave this an excellent rating because it is a great shirt. It is also a great travel shirt, we wore them on a recent trip to Europe.

This is a great shirt that definitely is on par with the Columbia standard. My only problem is that they run a bit big so make sure you consider that before buying your normal size.
