I purchased on of the Columbia Bahama II Shirts recently for leisure wear and fishing. I love this shirt! Not only is it comfortable, but I can just throw it in the washing machine, dry it, and wear it. Getting ready to buy three more.

These are the best fishing shirts I have ever purchased. They breathe fantastically and dry very rapidly if you get caught in the rain

Coolest Shirt Ever
I'd always seen others wearing these shirts in saltwater environments - but with oppressive heat on a river fishing trip thought I'd try it out. Easily the coolest shirt I've ever worn.
Compliments from wife and daughter on "you look great in that shirt and that color" even for casual wear was nice to hear too.
They run a little big - 23 year old daughter thought it was an awful lot of fabric around midsection if I left it untucked, - looked better tucked with the size running a little large. The Gulfstream color has gotten me countless compliments.
Apparently girls are starting to wear these as swim suit cover ups as well - likely because you just can't believe how much cooler you feel than in a normal cotton button up or t-shirt, combined with a color availability rarely found in other products.
It has more features even as a fisherman I doubt I'll use - the velcro pole-tip tab to hold the pole as you change rigging for example - not in the habit of using a shirt with that much technology - though I was able to store some small stuff in the shirt securely, so the "storage capability" of this shirt in addition to the comfort in excessively hot climates make it a "must have" especially if you are heat intolerant. or just want to be as cool as possible.
Thought the fabric would not be as comfortable as cotton - I was wrong - feels cooler and lighter and even smoother than cotton, even vs. worn in cotton.
Worth the price. Don't be afraid of the colors - white was safe but tended to show everything. Haven't ever got this many compliments on a color as I have the Gulfstream color - but the reason to wear it is to simply stay cool.
For this much value and comfort and even style - the price is more than reasonable.
