Here in Portland, OR I was tired of not having a good rain jacket. I got this jacket and I'm really happy with it. It fits well and is very water proof. If I was designing it I would add some flannel to the inside of the pockets so that they are soft and warm. and maybe add another inside pocket. Oh, and a key clip to one of the outer pockets too. But overall, a great jacket.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by JoyG82 It's... OK.
What can I say, it's a rain jacket. The material is kinda stiff, and very light weight; it feels like it wouldn't stand up to a brush by a black berry bush, but maybe that's an illusion and it's sturdier than it appears, don't know.
My biggest issue is probably with the fit. The 2X size I got is snug in the hips while being very billowy throughout the rest. I also had an issue with the hood, cinching it up didn't seem to help it stay on in the wind and rain, it only served to make it more uncomfortable for me. I've tried to wear this three times and it's just too loud (I don't mean color I mean the swish, swish when I move) and not very comfortable. I might wear it again if we have a deluge but this will probably hang in my closet even through most of the rainy days. (Instead I'll just wear my new Columbia Benton Springs fleece jacket which doesn't have a hood but when paired with a beanie has provided good weather protection so far)
A note on the sizing:
It bears repeating that while this is a 'womens' jacket it doesn't seem that a womans curves were taken into consideration. I practically swim in the main body of the jacket while at the same time having trouble getting the zipper started at my hips. (and my hips are proportional, not overly wide) Maybe having an adjustable waist hem would have been good.

Love the waterproof capability! Water beads up and you can brush it off easily and it dries fast.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by DearKathi Keeps me dry in Oregon rain and warm 50 degrees.
Keeps me dry, love the hood and room to put fleece underneath. Perfect for Oregon weather. Zipper is a little sensitive, keeps wanting to zip over flap material in. Just take your time and it gets easier. Rating is due to zipper. Should be more than good.
