I bought one of these about ten years ago, it was the two "D" cell version. It has since stopped working due to my own neglect of leaving it out in the rain during a hike.
I never go in the woods without this little guy. You will not believe the air it circulates. I camp in three tents throughout the year. Why? Becuse we have a small 6'x6' motorcycle tent. A 9'x9' three to four day park camping tent and then our motorcycle rally tent 13'x9' camping cabin. This fan works in two of the three really efficiently. The 13'x9' not so much due to the height. But the other two it is a life saver.
I now have to buy another one of these fans well I'm buying two one for a backup. Those nights that you need fresh air moved around and the soft sound of a fan, this is the one for us. I love, love, love this fan.

Bought this because I sweat like a dog in the mornings. I like to sleep in on trips and bought this so I could squeeze a couple more hours out in the morning. I have a 2 person Kelty backpacking tent. Works very well for that size. If you have a larger tent, I'd recommend getting the next size up.
I gave it 4 stars because I was expecting a little more flow. Nice & quiet though. Wish they have a 4.5 stars rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NatlieO Handy little item
I bought this for my son to take along to scout camp a couple of years ago - almost as a bit of a joke. They go during the hottest time in July and we joked that the little fan probably wouldn't help too much.
We were wrong. It helped circulate air to keep him from being miserable at night. The next year a couple of other scouts had one as well.

I was given this fan and have had alot of luck out of it. runs forever on one battery and worked very well to keep the air(if you know where to put it) circulating in my 5 man tent.
