I have never seen a propane coffee maker in all my 50 +years of camping and none of my friends have either. This Signature Coffee maker was an answer to my prayers . You cant tell the difference from home brew .It is easy to set up and the coffee is perfect. It is a "five" star product in my book. Note : No more complaints from the wife about "camp coffee" either .She absolutely loves it.

I have a coleman stove and pot and I use them on the beach. I have tried using it on the bed on my truck, but on windy days it can take a long while to brew a pot. Does this coffee pot offer any kind of wind protection to it's flame?Thanks in advance for any replies.

Depends on your elevation. The higher up you are the more time it takes to boil things.Figure: 4 or 5 large pots of coffee at 5,000 feet. This stove has a lot of BTU's. It's a great stove.
