AC adapter should be included, for what ever more, Other than that uint is very good.

I bought this cooler to take rving so we wouldn't have to buy ice. Worked just OK, the drinks were not real cold. Used it twice and the third time I used it the drinks were barely cool. Only had it for about a month. A total waste of money. I would give it 0 stars if I could,

very nice cooler, i was very surprised at how well it kept things cool,Its great for any trip or outdoor adventure. BP was quite a bite more expensive then other stores on the cooler but i do recommend it,well worth it.

I would like to use this on my sailboat when weekending, and would keep it in the cabin. I want the contents cool (COLD) but don't want to turn the cabin into an oven to do it. Could the heat be vented outside somehow?

I have used one for the past couple of years on my 32 foot power boat and I kept it inside as well. As long as you can leave some ports open for ventilation you will never notice it. We ran it continuously while we were aboard, sometimes for 3 weeks in a row. Never had any problems with it.

Yes. We have used our electric cooler outside under our awning for years. We usually put the cooler and the cord up on a box or a stool to keep it from possibly getting damp on the ground, and we make sure it stays dry if it rains. It is great for my outdoor kitchen, and having the cooler outside helps keep people from going in and out of the camper to get a cold drink or snack. However, as with any other cooler, we always put the cooler in the car overnight to keep critters from getting into it!Details:Â

Its excellent for camping as long as you have power or a few batteries to run it. But they are not that cold if you leave them in the sunshine on very hot days, they can only cool about 40 deg. F lower then the air Temp.A:Â
We have used our electric cooler for camping for years, and it is a great alternative to using ice. We have had success even in 90 degree heat as long as the cooler is full of cold food and we keep it out of the sun. You can even use a refigerator thermometer to check the temperature. As with any cooler, delicate foods will spoil faster than hardier foods, and you can take care of that with meal planning. The big advantage is that foods do not get soggy, and vegetables like lettuce do not get ice spots. I like to keep the cooler in "chest style" rather than upright to keep the cold air in at the bottom rather than have it flow out when opening the door "refrigerator style".

Therefore, since you will plug in the item would last 4 or more days. If you use your car to keep the cooler running just make sure you do not drain your car battery or carry an extra 12v battery or charger with you and you should be good to go for 3-4 days! Can frozen foods be transported in this unit and how long would the food remain frozen?Answers

We have used our electric cooler to transport frozen food. The coolers do not have a "set temperature" like a refrigerator. Instead the temperature inside the cooler will be about 30 - 40 degrees cooler than the temperature outside the cooler. How long food stays frozen depends on how how warm the ambient temperature is outside the cooler, whether the cooler is in the shade or the sun, how full the cooler is with frozen and other cold food and how big the pieces of frozen food are. We have had packages of frozen hamburger or chicken stay frozen for a couple days as long as they are surrounded by cold drinks and other cold food.A:Â
Haven't really tried it yet, but ice was solid after 24 hours with the chest in about 60 degrees. After 48 hours, ice was about 3/4 melted.A:Â

The coolers are about the same size as a regular cooler, and it will fit in the same size area. As long as the vent on the side is open to the air, it will work. We often put ours in the back of our SUV and run the cord to the cigaretter lighter in front.
