As a truck driver I've used all brands of thermoelectric coolers over the past 18 years and I have found Coleman to be the best, I pack all the food that I eat on the road (to maintain a healthy diet# and this cooler keeps it cold and sometimes will freeze drinks and lettuce. The key to keep the coolers inside temp down is always precool before putting anything in it, and when in the vehicle try and blow the AC vent directly on the fan motor that will keep the temp inside very cold #the cooler will only cool about 30/40 degrees below outside temp and if the sun is beating thru the window on it, its not going to work as well# hope these tips will help for you as well as they have for me.
Don't forget to clean the fan off from time to time for long lasting service #but be careful the fan blades brake pretty easy and can't find a replacement)

Went to a funeral from Hessmer, LA to Orange TX & had cold water, & cold softdrinks plus grapes & plums to snack on. All were kept cold. Very nice. We really like it.

I bought this cooler to take rving so we wouldn't have to buy ice. Worked just OK, the drinks were not real cold. Used it twice and the third time I used it the drinks were barely cool. Only had it for about a month. A total waste of money. I would give it 0 stars if I could,
