Heats cold water to 100° in 5 seconds. Portable, self-contained water heater is perfect for washing, cooking, cleaning and showering (spray adapter sold separately). Fueled by propane (not included). Simply connect the hose from the water heater to the 5-gallon water container (included) and turn the knob to select your water temperature. In 5 seconds, you've got steaming hot water. Pump is powered by a rechargeable battery (included). Heats up to 40 gallons of water on one 16.4 oz. propane cylinder (not included) and battery charge.

I purchased this device in August and was excited about getting hot water in the deer woods; no more boiling water for me! I worked well for my first two trips totaling about 10 days; on my third trip it failed to work, the heating element would not kick in. My intention was to take it back to get a replacement but since I am a klutz I knocked it off of my tailgate while loading the truck and busted the side so I was out of luck. My clumsiness aside, it only worked for a total of 10 days before it failed to heat the water, I do not recommend this product.

A must for camping! We parked the boat on a sandbar and had a hot shower in the lake. Works awesome :)

Excellent product. We camp several times a year and this water heater makes things soooo much easier. Wouldn't camp without it!

I bought this to replace the Zodi hot shower which did not work. Everything with the Coleman worked as advertised except the shower attachment. The hose is too short. I went back to my Coleman shower bag and filled it with hot water from the On-Demand system and then everything was fine.

in canada. i have a ser.2300-455c hot water on demand, used it for 3 yr. love it, but it just stoped working,no waring, just wont turn on. battery is fulley chard.no pump no water and no sevice in canada. eney help you can give will be helpful.thank you

Troubleshooting:Yellow battery Low Light on during operation:
Battery voltage low -Charge battery
Battery defective- Replace battery (refer to maintenance section for instructions).
Burner will not light:
Propane cylinder empty- Replace cylinder
Propane cylinder frosted - Replace cylinder and reuse after thawing
Electronic circuit defective- Send to Coleman Service Center
Low or no water flow (less than 1 gallon per minute)
Battery lead disconnected- Remove battery cover & reinstall lead
Pump is not positioned properly- Rotate pump so “THIS SIDE UP” is facing upward
Water container out of water- Fill water container
Pump screen clogged - Remove and clean screen
Hose bent or kinked -Straighten hose
Pump unplugged – Make sure the black wire is plugged into back of heater
Air bubble in hose - Drain hose completely
Water leak at pump to container:
Fitting cross-threaded - Remove pump and reconnect to water container
Hose turns white or discolors inside:
Calcium buildup - Clean heater
Water leaking from inside heater:
Defective seal or break - Send to authorized Coleman Service Center

The Zodi Outback Gear Hot Tap Travel Shower™ - Model 6185 is cheaper but this one is hotter.. How am I to know which is better and easier to use?Any help is appreciated!

This one is good for 5 gallons and the Zodi is for 4 Gallons. Each unit will do the same job and other customers say the same for each product they are great to use while camping, etc. I would say the Zodi is more for taking Showers has a longer shower hose. I hope this helps.Details:
