This case has done its job for years. I have never suffered a broken globe when using this case.
That said, it is cheaply made, and the latch is a PAIN to open in the cold or wet. But it's inexpensive insurance for my lantern and well worth it!

I've never had my lantern damaged while in this case. I'm not a big fan of the clip mechanism on the bottom but it's not that big a deal. These are well worth the money to protect your lantern.

I HAVE ONE OF THESE CASES FOR MY 285 DUAL FUEL LANTERN AND I HAVEN' T BROKEN A GLOBE IN NEARLY 20 YEARS, AS A KID WE WERE ALWAYS BREAKING GLOBES IN MY FATHER'S LANTERN. SO WHEN I BOUGHT MINE I NATURALY BOUGHT AN EXTRA GLOBE,WHEN I SAW THE HARD CASE NEXT TO THE LANTERNS I DECIDED TO GET ONE OF THEM TOO. THE CASE IS WELL USED NOW BUT THE SPARE GLOBE STILL SETS ON THE SHELF IN THE CLOSET. I CAN HONESTLY SAY IT WAS MONEY WELL SPENT

No it will not. That lantern takes a smaller case.

No it does not, but Coleman does make one to fit that lantern. There are a couple different hard cases. You just have to find which case will fit your model #. I have 2 of those. The case is a different color and molded to fit those lanterns. Same design as this one just different on the inside.Answers

No. That lantern needs the smaller case that they do not have for sale at BPS at the moment or I would leave the item number for you. Coleman does make a hard case for them as well as a soft case now.A:Â

I know this because I bought the wrong case the first time around, and I'm looking at both of them right now
