Coleman Hardshell Carry Cases for 2-Mantle Lanterns
Coleman Hardshell Case
case does what it suppose to do. little hard to open but some times it just pops off. put a strap around it to fix that problem. if you want a red case, you'll have to get some place else. Bass list it as red, the order says red, they say they shipped red but you get black. ordered another one few weeks later. red, red, red. got black. this time with a knife slice thru the coleman info sheet. a previous reviewer had posted the same about knife slices in the product. great product- but beware
this is an excellant item- lightweight yet durable! the only issue i have with it is that i cannot use it with my coleman 220 lanterns. this is the model made for the 220 series lanterns, but i own two coleman 220e lanterns that were made in the 50s, and the lanterns are 11/2'' too tall for this case. i gave it to my friend, who has a 220f, and it fits like a glove!! overall- it is a wonderful product, easily protects the lantern, and would be a welcome addittion to my coleman gear if they had a model to fit my old lanterns, which are still better than any comparible lantern on the market!! i feel coleman should address this issue, since back in the 50s they were building products to literally last a lifetime. so they work well with any 220 series lantern model f (1960) and newer. hope this was helpful.......................poppadaddy

Gotta have it
I have two of these for my Powerhouse DualFuel lanterns. The lanterns and the case are just Great. There is some room under the lanters for useful lanters items also. I keep a new generator, pump repair kit and 4 pack of mantles under the lantern and a funnel on the corner of the base. It all fits in this case and that is what you need. Everything in one good, hard case. Get one you will love it.

Not as good as they used to be Bass Pro blew it.
These cases used to be about twice as thick. I have 4our of them so it is not just my imagination. Bass Pro also cut the front of mine with a box cutter when opening the box from Coleman. Overall it will keep your lantern safe. Just make sure that it is locked shut before you pick it up, or the bottom will fall out and at the very least break your globe.
