I purchased this kit from Bass Pro Shop and Installed it on my boat. The first time I was out on the water the plastic cooler corner holders broke off at the screw mounting holes on the bases. These are very flimsy, thin components and I'm Surprised that Bass Pro Shops, would carry a substandard product such as this, since their product lines are generally much higher quality, with greater durability.

I agree with the prior reviewer. I purchased this to replace another Coleman Cooler Tie-down kit and three (3) of the four (4) new brackets broke within the 1st two (2) uses, in the same place as the other review, where the screws hold the bracket down. This is a poor quality product that does not perform the job it was intended to due to poor design (thin walled) and materials (strength of plastic). You are better off fabricating something yourself to provide the same function.

Never even got to use them. I mounted them to the floor and had my icebox tied down when I hit it with my knee. Two of the brackets broke where the screws hold them down. Took my hand and barely pushed on the other two and they broke off. JUNK!!!!!!!

The base part of the tie-down is 2 inches tall and the tie-down part on top of the base is another 1/2 inch. Total height is 2 1/2 inches.
