I go out camping once a month and this is a must take product with me and by cub scout group, grate value for my money and a grate product I have 4 lamps and replacing the old ones.

The lantern does deliver enough light. I was looking for a lantern that could use 120 vac or a rechargable battery since one of the camp grounds I frequent has electricity. I have run the lantern on the rechargable battery for over 38 hours on high and the battery is still not drained, so the duration of the charge is not an issue. I would sacrafice battery life for more light output, 700 to 1000 lumens instead. 12 hours of battery life with that kind of output would be enough. Also would have preferred that the plug for the battery was on the side instead of the bottom so I could plug in with the battery in the lantern.
