I have had this for around 18 years. It has been on countless backpacking adventures. Through swamps, mountains, rivers and more and it has yet to fail. It has had minimal maintenance. A bit of clean fuel and this is ready to go. Though I also have a MSR Dragonfly for use as a lighter alternative, this one is favored.

I wish I could give this six stars. Have used these for many years and have always done the job. I usually use Coleman fuel since it is cleaner than unleaded gas, but love the fact it can be used if need be. I have a friend with the same stove and he always uses unleaded gas and his works fine but does not burn as smooth as with Coleman fuel. I will always have one or two of these on hand.

This a great little self contained stove. The tank holds plenty of fuel for a weekend of camping, and since it can use either white gas or unleaded gasoline you should never be left out in the cold. Easy to light and use, even in moderately windy conditions.

Not for cold weather camping
This will not work in cold weather. First time I used it in the teens, did not work. Next I used it in the 40s, I had to warm it up before use. It works great during warm weather camping.
