I see you have a space blanket for $4.50 that is 56 X 84 and is red on one side and silver on the other. What is different in these 2 products as reflected in the huge price difference?

Emergency Blankets normally have a thin sheet of aluminized polyester (silver in color). Thermal Blankets normally have aluminized polyester on one side (silver), a middle layer of fiberglass, with a polyethylene backing (red). Hence the price difference. ThanksAnswers

The blanket itself does not have a rated temperature as it does not make heat nor is it affected by constant exposure to sunlight. In other words, it will not breakdown with repeated sun exposure under normal use."
