Inexpensive and they work.I use these instead of gloves which get in the way if you are using bait. I put one in each pocket and alternate hands holding the rod.The paks are kind of small but work well in an enclosed pocket.They have never burned my hands and no fuel to fuss with like the metal handwarmers! Believe the expiration date.They will lose warming potential over time.

This can get really hot, but it takes a while for the packs to warm up. Doesn't last as long as stated, but still does the job.
