I use this bell to keep track of my dog in the woods.
It works great , it's loud enough for me to hear where the dog is , and super easy to quiet when my dog is in the house or truck. Just take the bell out of it's attached bag when we are getting ready to enter the woods and when we are done just put the bell back in the attached bag , the sewn in magnet stops the clacker from working , and we don't have to worry about more noise than necessary in the house or car . The bell stays attached to my dogs harness so I never have to worry about forgetting it somewhere.
