Coghlan's fire sticks light effortlessly - even after being submerged in water, making them ideal for backpackers, hunters, and campers. They are non-toxic and leave no odor, which makes them excellent for campfire cooking. Made in USA.
Best Burn for the Buck
When used correctly, these fire sticks are amazing for the price! They burn for a long time, and are hard to extinguish once lit (which is great when it is windy).
The best tip I can give is to break the sticks up. You only need 1/3 or even 1/4 of a stick to start a fire, and if you make shavings you have a great addition to a fire bundle. They also start easier when you break them down (surface area = fire!).
I would recommend these for anyone considering a cheap, lightweight fire stick.

Great Fire Starter
I use these several times out on the beach when I camp out. They make starting a camp fire easy. The winds coming off the ocean sometimes can be really tricky and make starting fires hard. These are great and even better because they are cheap and waterproof
