Coghlan's Hiker/Camper Egg Holder
This container only holds six eggs and large eggs won't fit without being crushed. It is quality made but who takes six eggs camping, it would be nice if it held a few dozen eggs since you can't get large eggs into it. A couple of hungry hunters will eat a dozen eggs, a pound of bacon and toast before sunrise.

Be aware of your egg size
This is a tough egg holder, and it keeps eggs from breaking while getting tossed around the cooler from kids trying to find the soda pop.
Just be aware, that this holder only fits up to medium sized eggs. If you use large eggs, you'll have to alternate the eggs and tilt them, and it will only fit 3. If you like extra large eggs, the holder won't snap closed.
I bought (2), and I carry a dozen medium eggs. That many eggs will last us an entire weekend outing.

Coghlan's is Camping
Since 1959 Coghlan's has been making great camping products. After a recent camping trip in which I did not have an egg holder , I found out the hard way when I opened my container and all of my eggs were broken. I came back into work to purchase one of these and have been rewarded with its durability since and no more broken eggs.

Aside from the fact that these are not for really large eggs, they do exactly what they are supposed to do. I prefer to boil the eggs in advance and then they are there whenever hunger strikes. Keep them in the cooler and they really work well.
