I used to have one of these (until it came off the chain and got lost) and I say that it can be handy, especially in a survival situation. Given a little bit of practice and right fuel though, you can get a fire started up in no time with this.

i like this product it is easy to use all u have to do is scrape of a pile of the Magnesium about a 25 cent pile of it and get some dry tinder trike the flent on it and magic fire !!!! help to practis 2 or 3 times
