Rated 5 out of 5 by Great item for people who wear glasses Like the fact that when I leave the dock at dark I hang the Cocoons around my neck and when the sun comes up I simply slip them over my glasses. There polarized and stylish. Great purchase. October 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST AVAILABLE PRODUCT THIS IS MY SECOND PAIR OF WIDE LINES.GREAT LOOK FOR PEOPLE WITH GLASSES.I RECENTLY WENT DEEP SEA FISHING AND THE DECKHAND DID NOT EVEN REALIZE THESE WERE FIT OVERS. July 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cocoons are good! Planned to get Costa del Mar polarized 580G's, but was told that to RX them it would get close to $600 investment. I noted the Cocoons would fit over my prescription glasses, so I went and bought the Wide Line Blue lens. I have been using it for close to two weeks now and I carry them everywhere I go. It's so good to be able to see well with my glasses, get some protection from the sun, and it only cost me $50. I have used it in the water for fishing, but I have not been in the marsh yet to see if it will kill the glare and help me find the fish lurking around. I hope to find out when I get to the Texas Kayak Fishing School this upcoming September 2012. For sun protection I give it a five, style is a bit bulky so you look like a cataracts patient, but I really don't care. I wanted the Costas 580's, but will wait and see how this works for fishing. Rated 5 out of 5 by great product These are great! Very comfortable, and a great fit (if you use the sizing chart correctly!) I can see fish and structure that i couldn't before. Gets rid of the worst of the glare from water surfaces. I'd buy another pair anytime. Although, being that they are nearly indestructible, i doubt i'll ever need to. They also look nice. July 2, 2012

A:
At the end of the item description there is a link that say "read more" Click that. Then you will see red letters that say "click here for sizing chart"

It explains from there. It says to print off a picture to compare your glasses to, i dont have a printer so i just resized the picture and compared the picture of the quarter on there to a real one, then held my glasses to the screen. If youre nor sure, get the next size up.

A:
In my opinion, these are not well suited as over glasses.

A:
The answer is more about sunlight conditions than water conditions.
Grey for everyday use in bright light.
Amber, my favorite for most conditions, including fishing and driving. Yellow for low light conditions. Blue Mirror for bright light. Get the Amber and you will see into clear water very well!

A:
I have four pairs and they are all smoke colored. They are polarized, so the glare off the water's surface is negated.

They seem to be. I was clearly able to see better thru the glase at cover under the water's surface BUT I have noit tried turning them 90 degrees out of phase with othe polarized sunglasses I have to see how much light gets thru.
