Gray provides natural color definition, eliminates glare, and is ideal for general use in bright light conditions.

Blue Mirror offers additional reflection with blue light filtration for glare reduction, sharp contrast, and natural color definition.

Amber allows 14% light transmission and enhances depth perception by increased contrast in normal light conditions.

Yellow allows 27% light transmission which provides maximum contrast in low light conditions such as dusk and dawn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Sun Glasses Years ago when my eyes started changing my eye doctor told me I was not eligable for contacts. I knew I either had to buy expensive prescription sun glass or I would not be able to get good UV protection while on the water. Fortunetely for me my eye doctor had cacoons in the office and told me I should try them. I liked them except they were some what big and gaudy. I didn't care as long as I could wear them on the water to help block sun glare. Over the years this product has made several different styles. Recently my old 10 yr. old cacoons got worn to the point of needing new ones. I went to the bass pro shop in Concord Mills N.C. and tried the other styles out. I purchaced a set of the mini slims. These are much more styleish compared to the older set I had. One thing I would add is if you are in the same situation I am, not being able to wear contacts, this product is for you!! I would recomend these to anyone who likes to wear or needs to use sun glasses with prescriptave glasses. Another good recomendation is do not simply buy these, these different style sun glasses fit over different styles of prescriptave glasses. For ex. the slim mini will only fit comforitable over thin wire small frame glasses. Go to your local bass pro to try these different stlyes out to see what is your best fit. I had a friend that bought a set and he complained about the fit. He was not happy so I took him to bass pro and he tried a different style he liked the fit better. He now loves his cacoons and wouldn't trade them for nothing. Did I fail to mention that prescriptave lenses can be installed in the frames. This product is far more reasonable on your wallet than a $100.00+ product is and is just as good if not better. I have been wearing this product for only a bit less than a decade and will be a life long customer. Give them a try! August 18, 2010

The blue mirrored pair is awesome in full sunlight in clearer water. If the clouds come out switch immediately to a lighter colored lens as the blue tends to get weak with any cloud cover or shadowing.

They do to a certain extent. They help get rid of surface glare which will help you see more fish/ underwater structure. Not a miracle, but still a decent improvement, especially on bright days
