Rated 5 out of 5Â by 4thefunofishing very good value for the money
This radio is great! It took a little while to program but well worth the time. A solid built radio that is no nonsense.I feel more confident being on the water with this radio on the boat.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by loski so far so good
I purchased this radio last month and have used it almost everyday. This is my first VHF radio and i must say that they are a lot clearer than cb radios and 2 way walkie talkies. I use this product for hunting and even with the trees and everything in the way it still gets out pretty far and has great reception. Also the batter power is great.

I am very happy with my Cobra 325 Marine Radio. It has very good range. It is compact, yet the displays are easy to read. I also like the battery meter. I did not have one on my last radio. Good job Cobra!

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Disapointed Don`t waste your time
I purchased 3 of these radio`s for hunting and work and was VERY disapointed they had less then 200 yards of reception. If you could`nt see the other person you could not talk to them. All in all dont waste your time or money .I will be returning them for a full refund.

With most handheld VHF FM radios you usually get a 4 to 5 nautical mile range. Accurately computing radio horizon you have to factor in the height of the antenna above the earth (water), frequency, wattage, effective radiated power and other important factors. Generally the less obstruction the better, and the higher you're antenna is elevated will help achieve maximum distance. Remember these radios are meant for inland/inshore communications or as a backup to more powerful and efficient mounted units. Thank you and come see us at Bass Pro Shops Orlando!1 of 1
