Great fins These fins are your basic 1980's scuba fins with jets. They are much better then the duck feet fins, and can fit a bear foot, foot with shoe, or foot with wader-stocking feet. Easy in and easy out. Worth the money if you use your float-boat. I take my boat out every weekend and these fins hold up to use and abuse. September 21, 2010
good lake fins I have used the fins several times now and I really like them they are great for lake fins. I did not care for them in streams because I could not fit them over my boots. I have really bad knees and the fins did not bother me a bit after 2 full days of fishing in my belly boat. October 7, 2010
OFF THE MARK ! These fins just do not work well for float tubing. The strap comes off easily and the fins are way to heavy on the upstroke. I think they tried to adapt a poor swim fin and it backfired. I have float tubed for years and these things just do not work ! May 12, 2011
Bad Pick These fins may be okay for playing in a kids wading pool, but don't count on them for a float tube. The straps slip and come loose all the time. The second time I took them out the bracket on the strap finally broke. Like I said, Bad Pick ! August 9, 2011

not without slight modification for larger sized boots. I know sizes 11 and up will require a slight 2-3 inch cut on the tongue of the fin. Worked for my size 13 boots for 11 yrs

Yes, you can use these fins without wader boots. I would suggest wearing water socks or water shoes to help cushion your heel and protect the bottom of your feet from cuts abrasions, etc.

these fins are made specificly to fit over wader boots. You can try them without boots, but i don't think that they would be comfortable.

A:
I think it depends on the size of the boots. All I can say is that I could not fit a boot or a sneaker in size 13 into the fins. However, I placed water shoes that I got at another retailer over my stocking foot waders and found it to be comfortable all day.

I don't see why not, as long as the boots are not larger than say a size 12-14 they should fit fine.
