I ordered this for my mercury 60 4 stroke outboard as one of the comments by a user was that he was using it on his mercury 60. When I received it it showed that it only fit up to a 40 HP. My mistake in not checking it our. It is a very nice cover and would work well on motors that it was intended to fit.

motor cover does what it is intended for, covers the motor well. I have a 03 25hp Yammy and it fits all the way to the prop. Draw strings pull it neat and tight. Could use one more string on the lower unit to tighten her up a little more during transport though. Im happy with it.

I own a 25hp mariner, when I purchaced
the cover I was afraid it would be to big.
Not so with the draw strings fix greats and enough
to cover the lower unit also. String are long to ty surely for towing it needed. Great addation to
my camo boat.

Would this cover fit on a 15HP Mercury? I think if it would fit a 16HP, it would fit a 15HP....

The manufacturer states it fits 16hp to45hp. They do make one that fits up to
15hp, we do not carry that size. It would cover your 15 hp motor, may be a bit large.

Yes, I purchase one in spring. Very water and uv resistance. I keep my boatand motor very clean, and this cover does it all, and looks great with my camo boat patten.
